Petra Hilgers
Petra is a development practitioner with over 15 years of international experience and expertise in the fields of community development, team and organisational change and personal development.
Originally from Germany, Petra has developed her skills in peace building, non-violent communication, mediation and conflict coaching working in countries and communities all over the world including Bosnia, South Africa, Uganda, Darfur/Sudan, Afghanistan and now in London.
As well as running deep:black Petra currently works part-time as a family mediator for The Children's Society, is a volunteer mediator with Common Ground and is also a photographer, a committed cyclist, dance enthusiast and an advocate of Alexander Technique.
Petra is passionate about community and the power of cooperation. She lives in a community in Bow and is an active member of her local CND group.
