Workshops and Training

Young People

deep:black does powerful work with young people in both schools and community settings that has been proven to have an impact on their lives and those around them.

We have been particularly successful in our work with vulnerable young people including young people who are NEET (not in education, employment or training) as well as young offenders.

Our programmes use creative tools - discussion, drama, games, music, photography and movement - to develop young people's self awareness, build their self esteem, increase their understanding of conflict and encourage them to take ownership and responsibility for their own behaviour.

We have a wide range of programmes designed for young people including 2 hour workshops to introduce groups to mediation skills as well as an 8 week programme exploring the power of life narratives with young offenders.
